Facilities

This dreamy, minimalist villa is sleek and stylish and sits in the hilly hinterland of the Algarve region in southern Portugal. Tucked away on the edge of the village of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, this idyllic holiday home sleeps up to six guests and is perfect for groups of friends or family.

The traditional house has been lovingly restored, making use of its original structure, which houses the three bedrooms. The new wing houses the main living area, which is a lovely spot to unwind in front of the fireplace. The decor throughout is minimalist, with concrete flooring and linear shapes combining to create a calming, contemporary atmosphere. And, thanks to the several patio areas and terraces (including a roof terrace) you have lots of space both inside and out to socialise whilst enjoying the surrounding scenery.

When the sun is shining be sure to sit around the pool, whilst taking in the amazing views out across the valley. And when the weather’s warm you can cool off by going for a nice dip in the water before heading out for a nice meal in one of the nearby villages.

For groups travelling with children, a crib, high chair and kids DVDs are all available, and the little ones will also love splashing around in the outdoor pool. The Algarve’s many beautiful beaches are also fantastic for kids, whilst there are lots of nice sandy spots for adults to relax and unwind as well.

The villa sits at the end of a dirt road within a picturesque nature reserve. This means you have peace and tranquillity all around you. And, to top it off, you’re only a quick, five-minute drive from the village of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, which has supermarkets, grocery stores and some lovely restaurants for you to try.

The Algarve’s most beautiful beaches are just a 20-minute drive from your door, and golfers will love the nearby courses, which are world class.
